First official races of the season to begin the 5 race series. Saturday registration for the Deep Mud will be from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. New Barnyard track officials will be in the "tech area" ready to go. Everyone here is very excited for our very first "early season" event. Drivers meeting at 11:00 to begin the event. Drivers will be informed of some new track rules during tech period. Biggest change for 2010 is the need to "class up" when called. Vehicles not in the staging area before their class starts will not be able to race. Sunday will be the Fast Track with the same set-up. Some new classes to run this year with the 2 consistency classes. See the web site for all the details.

Have another update on the consistency classes. Junior Division is a go!! Can't leave these future racers out of the picture. So---If you don't have a drivers license or permit to race in any of the other classes this is the one for you. You must be 16 or under to participate, show us you can drive, keep it 8 seconds or over, and have a safe vehicle to drive. Parent must be available to register and please use common sense about safety!! Early Sunday morning, 8-9 AM is the time to prove to me that your son or daughter can handle questionable vehicles. Remember this is not a time for practice runs, only ability. Practice at home before coming to the track!!

OK, so I hear we need a warm-up before the Season Opens. Weather Permitting we will be open for a test and tune on April 18, 2010 and April 25, 2010. No fees and a very casual opportunity to test those rigs. Good time for the Junior Division folks to get some practice runs in and be Barnyard Certified to be allowed in the upper class. There will be a informational meeting at 10:00AM at the garage to go over any questions and rules for the 2010 season on both days. This all depends on the weather so call ahead on Saturday to be sure track conditions are adequate.
